Academy Descriptions: 

Rookie Dribbling Academy

Rookie Dribbling Academy is intended to introduce players and reinforce the fundamentals of dribbling. This academy will teach players the necessary skills to to develop a strong fundamental foundation.

  • Progressive ball handling drills
  • Develop coordination and hand strength 
  • Develop dribbling with both hands
  • Learn the proper footwork
  • Introduce body movement when making moves
  • Develop ball control
  • Single dribble moves

Intermediate Dribbling Academy

Intermediate Dribbling Academy is intended to help players develop the necessaries skills to dribble at a elite level

  • Develop counter moves
  • Change of direction moves
  • Dribbling against pressure & with contact
  • Shiftiness
  • Learn how to create separation  
  • Develop better footwork

Elite Dribbling Academy

Elite Dribbling Academy is intended for elite level players.  This academy will teach players how to be effective with your dribble.  It's not enough to just have great handles.  Knowing when to do a move and at what angle or speed will make you unguardable.

  • Learn how to play with pace
  • Changing speeds
  • Learn how to utilize the pocket dribble
  • Develop and master your go to move & your counters

The Camp

Our all day, day camp is designed to help players enhance and develop their fundamentals and skills.  The camp will consist of station skill work, gameplay, speed & agility, yoga, competitive games & contests. Players will work in a positive environment that will keep their enthusiasm level high. Our goal is for players to improve in all areas of the game, compete, and enjoy playing the game of basketball and be inspired to improve.

Camp Description:

The Camp

Breakfast club is for players who are serious about their game. We show players how to dedicate themselves to the game of basketball. We teach our players what it looks like to train harder than ever before, and how to have the right mindset and approach to the game. Players will work on all aspects of the game at a high-intensity level.

  • Shooting (Game shot: Pull ups, step backs, off the dribble, change of directions pull ups. 
  • Finishing at the rim (Variety of lay up finishes, learn to finish with contact)
  • Moving with the ball (Cuts & concepts

  • Scrimmaging (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 5v5)

Corrective Yoga

Laura Burk President of ELB Consulting INC will run our Corrective Yoga Program. Discover your hip, knee, and/or ankle weaknesses and learn how to strengthen them. 

  • Strength exercises
  • Stretches & Yoga 
  • Proper foam rolling techniques will change your body dramatically to improve your sport.


Speed & Agility

La Von Burks (Coach V) president of LVS Education-Sports Foundation will run our speed & agility.  Coach V has worked with several NBA players Derrick Rose, Mason Plumlee,  Juwan Howard, Ray Allen, Shawn Marion, OJ Mayo, and Dwyane Wade to name a few.  Coach V will help athletic improve their overall athletic ability.

  • Improve your ability to change directions
  • Improve overall body strength
