Camps are based on grade level.  If your child has a higher skill level and needs to be placed at a higher grade level please contact Dawaun Wells- dawaun@limitlessbasketball.com

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

HOOPS DAY CAMP- This is a great opportunity for players to not only develop their skills & fundamentals, but also improve their speed, quickness, and overall body health from doing 2 days a week of speed & agility and yoga.  Come out and compete make new friends, and have fun. 
 
Our summer day camp is open to players of all ages.  This camp will help players learn and develop their fundamentals, along with improving their skill level.  Players will benefit from doing skills and drill work (stations), gameplay,  along with speed & agility and yoga twice a week.  Our goal is for players to improve in all areas of the game while also having fun.   
 
*Improve overall basketball fundamentals and skills
*Players will become better overall athletes (Speed & Agility, Yoga, and Conditioning)
*Improve game-play (1v1, 3v3, 5v5)
*Players will have fun (Shooting games, team games, 1v1 competition, and many other fun contests)
* This camp will be held at Prairie Middle School in Barrington from 9:00a-1:00p.
 
SPEED & AGILITY/YOGA -  While improving skills is critical, especially at younger ages, it is the improvement of the player’s athletic skills that will elevate the athlete to the next level.  Athletic skills include strength, speed, power, endurance, agility, balance, and quickness. Conditioning is a great equalizer. It could make the difference as to whether you start or sit, or whether you can advance to the next level.  “Thousands of high school and college players can shoot and dribble as well as some pros; however, they fall short of the pros in speed, power, agility, coordination, strength, and endurance. This is what prevents them from competing on a higher level.”  -Dean Brittenham Strength and Conditioning Coach, New York Knicks.

 

BREAKFAST CLUB- The breakfast club is for 7th-12th graders players that are looking to take their game to the next level. Participants will train 2-3hrs hours in the morning 4 days a week. Training will consist of all skills (dribbling, shooting, passing, footwork, game situation skills, and defense). Players will have hill training 2 days a week (In July we will go to Indiana sand dunes starting July 10th)  and yoga 2 times a week.
 
GAME SHOOTING - This will be a challenging camp and teach players how to practice at game speed.  Footwork, hand placement, shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, creating space to get shot off, developing the step back move are some of the key points our coaching will be focusing on.
  
DRIBBLING SCHOOL-  Players will develop their dribbling skills. Coaches will challenge players in the areas of (dribble moves, quickness, two ball dribbling, heavy ball, counter moves, cone dribbling, dribbling against pressure and double teams). Players will develop greater confidence in their dribbling ability from this camp and will develop better ball control.
 
SKILLS AND DRILLS- Players will be challenged and will work at a high-intensity level. Coaches will teach advanced drills while incorporating fundamentals that will help players improve their overall game. Players will work at a high level on shooting, dribbling, passing, screen and roll reads, transition play, finishes, and on-ball defense.
