HOOPS DAY CAMP- This is a great opportunity for players to not only develop their skills & fundamentals, but also improve their speed, quickness, and overall body health from doing 2 days a week of speed & agility and yoga. Come out and compete make new friends, and have fun.
Our summer day camp is open to players of all ages. This camp will help players learn and develop their fundamentals, along with improving their skill level. Players will benefit from doing skills and drill work (stations), gameplay, along with speed & agility and yoga twice a week. Our goal is for players to improve in all areas of the game while also having fun.
*Improve overall basketball fundamentals and skills
*Players will become better overall athletes (Speed & Agility, Yoga, and Conditioning)
*Improve game-play (1v1, 3v3, 5v5)
*Players will have fun (Shooting games, team games, 1v1 competition, and many other fun contests)
* This camp will be held at Prairie Middle School in Barrington from 9:00a-1:00p.
SPEED & AGILITY/YOGA - While improving skills is critical, especially at younger ages, it is the improvement of the player’s athletic skills that will elevate the athlete to the next level. Athletic skills include strength, speed, power, endurance, agility, balance, and quickness. Conditioning is a great equalizer.
